Privacy Policy

This policy explains what data newmomshop.com ("we", "the site") collects when you visit, why, and what choices you have. We collect as little as possible.

What we collect

Analytics (Google Analytics 4): off until you say yes

newmomshop.com uses Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand which guides are useful and which aren't. GA4 does not load, and no analytics cookie is set, until you click "Accept" on the cookie banner. If you click "Decline" or close the banner without choosing, GA4 never loads. Your choice is stored in your browser's local storage (not a cookie) under the key nms_cookie_consent, and it persists until you clear your browser data or use "Cookie preferences" in the footer to change it.

When active, GA4 sets cookies including:

• _ga: distinguishes users, expires after 2 years
• _ga_<container-id>: session state, expires after 2 days

We configure GA4 with IP anonymization enabled, Google Signals disabled, and ad personalization signals disabled.

Affiliate link tracking

Links that route through /go/<id> redirect to Amazon with our associate tag attached. Amazon, not newmomshop.com, sets any cookies on its own domain after that redirect. SeeAmazon's privacy notice. If you've granted analytics consent, we also log which internal link you clicked (not who you are) so we can tell which guides drive interest.

Server logs

Our hosting provider (Cloudflare) automatically logs standard request data (IP address, user agent, requested URL) for security and abuse prevention. This is infrastructure-level logging, not marketing analytics, and we do not use it to build visitor profiles.

What we don't collect

• No account creation, no login
• No newsletter/email capture (this site doesn't have one)
• No third-party ad networks or ad-tech pixels
• No sale of personal data to anyone, ever

Your rights

GDPR (EU/UK visitors)

You have the right to access, correct, delete, or export any personal data we hold about you, and to withdraw analytics consent at any time via "Cookie preferences" in the footer. Since we collect no account data and analytics is consent-gated and pseudonymous, there is typically nothing tied to you to export; email contact@newmomshop.com with any request.

CCPA (California visitors)

We do not sell personal information. newmomshop.com has never sold, and will never sell, visitor data to third parties. California residents may request details of what limited data (if any) we hold by emailing contact@newmomshop.com.
